This policy explains what participant information Entangle 2K26 collects, why it is used, and the choices available to you.
Effective 28 August 2026Registration information
We collect the name, email address, Indian mobile number, eligibility confirmations, and acceptance records you provide when registering.
Briefs and submissions
We collect creative briefs, uploaded project archives, filenames, file sizes, AI-use disclosures, submission timestamps, and related verification information needed to operate and judge the challenge.
Event operations
- To register participants and prevent duplicate entries.
- To deliver challenge updates and transactional emails.
- To receive, secure, verify, and evaluate submissions.
- To answer support requests and protect the event from misuse.
Supporting the event securely
We work with carefully selected technology and operational partners to host the website, store registration and submission data, deliver event communications, and keep the service reliable. They may process information only as needed to provide these services, subject to appropriate security, confidentiality, and privacy obligations.
Limited access
Participant information is accessible only to authorized organizers, jury members where necessary, and service providers supporting the event. We do not sell participant personal information. We may disclose information when required by law or to protect participants, the event, or our legal rights.
Keeping data responsibly
We keep information only for as long as reasonably necessary to operate the challenge, complete judging and verification, resolve disputes, maintain event records, and meet legal obligations. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, but no internet service can guarantee absolute security.
Access, correction, and event emails
You may ask us to correct inaccurate registration information or request access to or deletion of personal information, subject to verification and any information we must retain for legal or event-integrity reasons. Transactional emails needed to confirm registration, submission, or important event changes may still be sent while you participate.
For a privacy request, email us from your registered address and describe what you need.
Security and service logs
Our hosting and security providers may record limited technical information such as IP address, browser or device type, request timestamps, and error or security logs. We use this information to keep uploads reliable, investigate failures, apply rate limits, and protect the event from misuse.
